Kent Optronics, Inc. (KOI) is a high-tech company in the field of liquid crystal devices and electro-optical components and subsystems. It was founded to fill unmet market needs in photonics, optical telecommunication, display, glazing and automobile industries. KOI concentrates on high technology development for outstanding performance products with added value for revenue generation. The targeted markets are OEM markets in photonics, particularly, in optical components, devices, and subsystems based on liquid crystal and other related materials.

Our mission is to develop and commercialize advanced electro-optical solutions and systems by leveraging our world-class expertise in liquid crystal, optics, photonics components and fabrication techniques.

Vision

The company vision follows a unique high-tech company development approach. Strategically, KOI starts with technology innovation which would lead to high performance value-added commercial products with significant market potential. Next, KOI forms a subsidiary or a separate company to commercialize the developed technology to penetrate into the market place and generate revenue. Eventually, the subsidiaries will either go public or get merged with other companies.
